Fun Wedding Frame with pennant banner

Here's a quick and easy framed art piece I whipped together in like 20 minutes! I found this cool 'vintage' frame at Winners, made a funky banner with the Pennant Punch and square punch using a variety of papers, and added one of my fave wedding photos of my brother and his wife standing in confetti! So cute!

That cute little 'Mr. & Mrs.' stamp from Tiny Tags set is probably my most used stamp from that set. It adds a nice touch to any wedding project! Love it!

Rustic Altered Frame

I know, FINALLY, I post a craft project!! I spent yesterday cleaning and organizing my craft corner, what a mess! I feel like I can breathe now!  So I've had this frame for awhile, it's from Winners, I didn't weather it myself. When I was cleaning I came across this 5x7 photo of me with my Gran and Gramps, so I slipped it into the frame, then added the little vintage details. Super quick and really easy for a gift! But I'm keeping this one for myself...

This sentiment isn't a stamp, but its from the new Fan Fair DSP. I'm totally in love with this paper, such beautiful vintage patterns, including lace, postage stamps, keys, eiffel  tower, bicycles...adorable!

The postage stamp, is actually a stamped image from the new set Postage Due, then punched with the postage stamp punch. whew...lol And the Naturals Buttons are a new fave, they look like wood!

Lola hung around the Big Shot while I worked on this...she's a great little helper...

My Big Shot needs to be dusted! LOL

Altered Frame - Wedding Gift

I just made this frame for my friend Jacylyn's wedding gift. I promised her an altered frame when I got her wedding photos printed....it's long overdue, since her wedding was in September, but I'm finally seeing her tonight after many months apart! I'm so excited to see her, and have sushi! LOL
I'm really happy with how this turned out. I wanted to incorporate her wedding colours which were autumn jewel tones. Here I used Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, More Mustard and Old Olive.

I just adore banners! I used the Pennant punch, Boho Blossoms punch and Tiny Tags...isn't that teeny tiny 'Mr & Mrs' sooo cute! love it!

I also wanted to incorporate the Mini Clothespins, since I used them when I made her Seating Chart. The stamp set is Letter It. I love these letters! To add a little something something to the matting I used the Colour Spritzer Tool with Chocolate Chip and More Mustard Markers.

Have a great day!

'Create' Decor Elements frame

I made this frame decor for my mom's scrap room this Christmas. I recently gave it to her while on my 3 week trip home. (yes I know I haven't posted for a long time!!! ) I'm flying back to Calgary tomorrow! It's been a great 3 weeks here with my family!

I used the Stampin' Up! Decor Elements 'Create' and applied it to the glass on the frame, then created a background with the Everyday Enchantment DSP for inside the frame.

Well, gotta get packing!

Vintage Scrabble Tile Frame

This is a Christmas gift for my Gran and Gramps. They love playing Scrabble, and always had a 4pm date everyday to play a game. So sweet! Scrabble tiles are very trendy these days, so I got my hands on some vintage tiles from Etsy, and created this framed art for them. I used some new Designer paper from the upcoming Sale-a-bration sale called Everyday Enchantment. It's so gorgeous and vintage! Just wait!! You can get this paper for FREE very soon! SAB starts Jan. 24!!  Other embellishments in this frame include Beau Chateau Side Notes (love love love!), Vintage Trinkets, Boho Blossoms punched flowers, and the gorgeous NEW Pleated Satin Ribbon in Pear Pizzazz....available starting tomorrow in the Occasions Mini Catalogue!

Fliratious Suite Frame - opening the gift!

Hello everyone! Happy Labour Day! Can't believe summer is over already, well here's hoping for an Indian summer here in Calgary!

I wanted to share a few photos of my cousin's daughter Indira opening her gifts from me. If you remember my post awhile back of my Flirtatious Suite Frame (click on the link to refresh your memory) I gave the gift to her for her 1st birthday while I was visiting family in Ontario a few weeks ago. I loved her reaction to the frame, she loved it! She kept trying to grab the fabric flower inside (made from the Flirtatious Designer Fabric)

She also loved my birthday card I made her....you can see that post HERE too if you missed it!

it's blurry, but she loved pretending to read it! so cute!

Flirtatious Suite Framed Art...featuring Pennants!

The new Flirtatious Suite product line is so pretty in the new Idea Book & Catalogue...I just adore the 'flirty' lace prints on the Designer paper, stamp set and Designer Fabric! I made this cute framed art for my cousin's baby girl who just turned 1 as a birthday gift.

The new Pennant Parade stamp set and coordinating punch is so much fun to play with! The creativity is endless! To make these little banners, I have one suggestion for a must-have tool....the 1/16" Handheld Circle Punch! It's the perfect size for punching holes to string the pennants together! I used the white Baker's Twine to string them together as well.

Can't wait to give this to her!
