Magnets with Designer Series Paper!

I'm working on some fun magnets to sell at some upcoming events of mine. A great way to use your DSP scraps! These clear glass 'rocks' are perfect for creating your own magnets. I'm working on a few different sets. This one is my Glimmer Set...I used the new Red Glimmer Paper from the Occasions Mini, as well as some Candy Cane DSP from the past Holiday Mini. I love how they all match with the same red glimmer. Glue them on to the glass with Crystal Effects, leave over night, trim paper,  then glue a mini magnet to the back. Crystal Effects has so many uses!!

Vintage Fun Flowers

This is my first time playing with my new Big Shot die ...Fun Flowers...It's so awesome! I love the shape of these flowers so much more than any other Die that they've had before. They are quite large as well, 3 different sizes!
Here I made my flowers with  the First Edition and Love Letter DSP's, with a little sponging of Soft Suede ink on the tips of the petals, added an Antique Brad in the middle. The card base is Cherry Cobbler...

I can't wait to use this die with the new Designer Fabric!!

Here's what the Fun Flowers die looks like...

What I love about this die is that it's big, but is used with the Standard Cutting pads.

Sweet Treat Cups Valentine

These Sweet Treat Cups are great for adding a little extra something on your cards. Here I filled my cups with Cinnamon Hearts. The Love Impressions DSP is the perfect match with the bright candies. I just love Basic Grey and Real Red together!  The little sentiment is from the new Valentine Defined stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catty. I attached it to the Real Red Satin ribbon with a mini paperclip from the Vintage Trinkets embellishments.

The Treat Cups also come in adorable heart-shaped ones, perfect for Valentines, however I don't have any to show here to see!

Be Mine Again....

This card is the same style as yesterdays, however I switched it up and used some Baja Breeze! Not your traditional Valentine colour, but it is pretty! I had some of that Newsprint DSP with Smooch Spritz leftover from yesterdays card, so I couldn't waste it....

Check out yesterday's post for all the details....
thanks for stopping by!

Morgan  :)

Be Mine....

This Vintage inspired Valentine uses the  new A la Carte stamp from the Occasions Mini Catalogue, Be My Valentine...only $10.95, it's a great stamp to have on hand for some quick Valentines. It has such a pretty design in the heart!

Also on this card, I used the new Vintage Flower Adornments. These are a great deal, a package of 24 in 3 colours (Very Vanilla, Rose Red, Baja Breeze) for only $7.95!!
And of course, the beautiful new 1/2"   Seam Binding Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler! I'm so happy they now have 7 colours to choose from! This ribbon is so light and easy to move, especially for scrunching like I did here.
The paper I used is Newsprint and Botanical Gazette DSP...I added some Log Cabin Smooch Spritz to the Newsprint, to give it a little vintage shimmer...

A little sponging on the Flower adds a bit more of the vintage feel....

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by! :)
