Winter Window Card

I think this may be my fave card I've made so far...I got inspiration from Penny's blog...thanks!

Create a winter scene with some sponging, sparkles and the beautiful Lovely As A Tree stamp set, then cut into 4 equal squares. (here I did a 4"x4" then cut into 2" squares) Space it out on a 5"x5" piece of Chocolate Chip Cardstock and it instantly creates a window pane. I added my personal touch with some mittens drying in the window. I cut out the mittens from the Cute Christmas stamp set, then clipped them on some Clear Tinsel Trim with Mini Library Clips.

Stampin' Up! products used:
Paper: Whisper White/Chocolate Chip cardstock
Ink: Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Bashful Blue
Markers: Pretty in Pink, Marina Mist, Certainly Celery, Old Olive
Stamps: Lovely As A Tree, A Cute Christmas
Embellishments: Iridescent Ice glitter, Clear Tinsel Trim, Mini Library Clips

  2. Hey Morgan nice card and the little windows are such a fun card to make. Love the little string of mittens. Cool idea.

I'm thinking if you visited my blog recently I might have been your inspiration for this card as I did one using winter post and the window concept, although one never knows.
