13 Days of HALLOWEEN - Day 13!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

My final project of my '13 Days of Halloween' is a decorated 'Trick or Treat Bag'  for decorating your house. I picked up this cute wire basket from Winners (i LOVE that Store!!!) And I jazzed it up with all the little decorations to make it festive. It's the perfect size for magazines, or DSP! I threw in some of my previous halloween projects! If you haven't seen all 13 projects, check em' out!!

13 Days of Halloween - Day 12

Handmade boxes/bags....

I got the inspiration from this wonderful video from Angie Kennedy Juda ...it's very simple to create!
I changed up the looks a bit, and used the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbon as the handle, it's thick and sturdy enough! Attached that to the box with some Pumpkin Pie cordoroy brads.

Frankenstein Top note card

This is a well known halloween card in the Stampin' family, so i couldn't resist trying it out! It's all made from punches and the Top Note Big Shot die. I just made the front, you can add it to a card or use it on a scrap page.

Candy Jar

When i saw this jar of eyeballs, i knew right away i had to get it to decorate! It's so perfect for Halloween, just imagine a cabinet full of funky jars with eyeballs, spiders, worms , etc...I kept it pretty simple, because i didn't want to cover up the eyeballs! Just some Old Olive 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbon, some Designer series Paper, a tag.... and you're done!

Glittery Spooky Card...

Who doesn't love the Silver Glass Glitter and Basic Rhinestones!  I jazzed up this Halloween card with some sparkle, Raven Lace Trim and heat embossing....

13 Days of Halloween - Day 7

Mummy Candle

Decorate any candle, jar, or can with the wonderful Twill Tape from Stampin' Up! and transform it instantly into a Mummy Decor piece!  I was inspired by a similar one in the 2010 Stampin' Up! Idea book and Catalogue...Don't have yours yet? email me!
So for this candle, i wrapped 3 different sizes of Twill Tape around the jar....I bought this on the Clearance Rack for only $2.49!! a must have! I punched 1" circles for the eyes and coloured some dots with the White Signo Gel Pen. Made the tag by embossing Basic Black Cardstock with the Spider Web folder on the BIG SHOT, and sponged a bit of Frost White Shimmer Paint to make it stand out. Add a little sentiment and some Glass Glitter and there ya go! The candle goes well with the Halloween theme...it's Pumpkin Brulee.....so yummy!

13 Days of Halloween - Day 6

Pumpkin Frame

I decorated a simple black frame to use for a decor piece in any room of the house! I made the cute little pumpkins out of punches....the small oval for the taller pumpkin, the 1" circle for the little pumpkin, and the twig from the Two-Step Bird Punch! Just do a little sponging to create some dimension...super easy and fun!

13 Days of Halloween - Day 5

Mummy Card

This card was inspired  from a blog called San Diego Mama...just happened upon it and fell in love with this mummy card....it's so easy too! I just cut strips of Very Vanilla Cardstock, sponge the edges with Soft Suede, punched the circles for the eyes and tied a strip of paper for the 'embellishment' ... And inside i added the cute sentiment....i dedicate this to my Mummy! <3

Halloween Sprinkles Gift!

Jazz up a jar of festive sprinkles with some Designer Series Paper, ribbon and a Tiny Tag! I used last years Halloween DSP only because it matched perfectly with my sprinkles! It's like Stampin' Up! designed these sprinkles in Perfect Plum, Pumpkin Pie colours!! LOL ;)

These would make a cute gift for anyone!

13 Days of Halloween - Day 3

Pumpkin Decoration

A fun and easy decoration made entirely from paper held together with 2 brads! Here i used Dusty Durango and Really Rust Cardstocks for a more rustic coloured pumpkin, and a little tag tied with Hemp Twine...Also stamped the pumpkin with the Circle Circus stamp set....

 

Here's a few steps to making these cute decorations...

cut 1" strips out of an 8 1/2"x11" piece of cardstock (2 colours), punch hole in middle of strips and attach them with a brad, stamp and sponge....

fold up and attach ends with another brad, punch holes first at the ends of the strips...

make a stem by rolling up some paper, i fringed the bottom so it lays flat on the top of the pumpkin, add a curled piece of paper and the tag...

Vintage Halloween Card

Give a vintage look to your paper by crumpling it up, then sponge lightly on the creases....Also rip your paper and sponge edges...

13 Days of HALLOWEEN! --Day 1

Only 13 days til Halloween, so I thought it would be fun to do a special Halloween project each day for the next 13 days!!! So be sure to check back everyday for some fun ideas for decorating your Trick-or-Treats for the kids, Spooky cards, or Wicked Decorations...

Day 1 - Decorate your mini chocolate bars! May not be ideal if you have hundreds of kids come to your door on Halloween, but if your up to it, or only get a few stragglers like my mom, it would be a fun project for you!

Here i covered a mini chocolate bar with some of the Wicked Fun Specialty Designer Series Paper, then tied the ends with some Raven Lace Trim. Next punch a piece of the DSP with the Decorative Label Punch, and a 1 1/4" Circle, with a 1" circle stamped with the sentiment from Wicked Cool Stamp Set. Don't forget the Glass Glitter in Champagne!!! Gotta add some BLING!  Pop it up with a Dimensional and your all set! Super easy! Also a fun project for kids to do themselves at a Halloween Party!

Glue the Glass Glitter with  the small tip of the Tombow glue!
