Candy Bags - a work in progress....

I started working on these at 2am, i'm getting tired, so I'll finish tomorrow, but I got all my chocolatey goodies bagged up in the Stampin' Up! medium cello bags, topped with some Jolly Holiday DSP cut on the Big Shot with the Top Note die and some tags...but i'm still working on those...
Time for some sleep...but I might watch Glee before ;)

Dasher Snow Globe!

This was a fun idea for a gift or for yourself! I saw this Snow Globe in Shopper's Drug mart today for only $5. It has a slot to put a photo inside, but I thought right away, I could do a stamped image. So I did Dasher, with some added pine trees, sparkly snow and some sponged sky. Then added some ribbon, a Big Designer button and a cute little snowman tag. There's so many different things you can do with this!

Candy Cane Gift Toppers

Make a simple Candy Cane special with some Candy Cane Designer Series Paper!  I cut the paper with the Scallop Circles #2 die on the BIG SHOT, added some 3/4" Polka dot grosgrain ribbon in Real Red (found on the CLEARANCE RACK for only $2.49 for 10 yards!) Finished it off with a Tiny Tag.

I went with a real "Earthy" feel with the Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Old Olive colours. The huge Medallion stamp is so beautiful, and was a Christmas gift from my mom last year!

The Dasher stamp is a must-have Christmas stamp...Only $10.95! So many uses for it, you can colour with markers, like I did here, add a little bling in his antlers with some Basic Rhinestones...and so on...

So i'm nearing the end of my christmas cards...but still have a few more to do. I've been working on a few Christmas gifts too, but I can't show everyone just yet....No peeking til Christmas!! ;) I'll have lots to post after Christmas, but until then, here's another card!

Unfortunately this Candy Cane Designer Series Paper is no longer available, due to high demands, and you can see why...it's so cute! I used the glittery polka dot paper, cut it with the Scallop Square Die on the Big Shot. The stamps are from A Cute Christmas, so cute! ;)

I added a little Iridescent Ice glitter with my Two-way glue pen on the mittens, and some Clear Tinsel Trim.
